Okay, so I have been very hard at work on the R&D front and I am now pleased to announce my new product line-up for albums. These albums are all awsome! I now have three lines of albums I am offering to anyone who is interested. I have my “Classic” line which features an “image wrap” hardcover and press printed and bound pages, for that traditional “hot off the press feel”. I have my “Studio” line which features all square layouts and REAL photo pages that lay flat when opened (great for panoramas). And I also have my “Premiere” line which also features REAL photo pages that lay flat, but with a plethora of cover options, too many in fact (I have a small catalogue to show them all). They are great for weddings, but don’t forget about family stuff too. I can make an album after a family shoot, or if you have had more than one shoot with me I can combine photos from the various shoots to make an album for you, or for someone else you might know (Parents maybe? What a great gift idea!). My R&D for these albums has lead me all over the world in search of the best products to offer my clients, seriously, one is made here in Canada, one in the good ol’ USA and one comes all the way from Italy. My albums cover the entire price gamut, so there is literally one for everyone! I must admit though, that I am most excited by one in particular….it’s from my studio line. It’s a 4″x4″ square book that contains 10 page spreads (20 pages of photo space), and it comes in a variety of colours in linen or leather. The thing I love is the size (super cute), it’s small enough to throw in a purse or diaper bag, or even a back pocket. This means it is the perfect gift for a parent or grandparent to show off their family. It also can it on a shelf or fireplace mantle, on a desk at work…..the list goes on! At four inches square, your imagination is your only limitation with these little guys.
In addition to these new albums, I have made changes to what I include in a wedding package! From now on, on top of getting all your photos edited in Colour and B&W on disc with copyrights released for personal use, I am adding some extras. Clients will now receive their photos on archival grade DVD, guaranteed for 100 years+. They will also receive an 8″x10″ press printed proof album with all their photos in colour to make choosing images to print easier (whether the printing is done by me or by someone else). Engagement shoots now also include an 8″x10″ print matted in white for guests to sign at the reception.
All in all, I would say this is huge news! It means that now, on top of great photos, you get options! Some of the most extensive options available from any photographer! Not one, but three album lines, with over 150 options combined (who else offers that much choice?) Of course, I still offer professional printing services, as well as canvas prints (another favourite), and if requested, I can do thank you cards or invitations to your special event, or even Christmas cards if that’s your fancy. With Still Photography you get great photos, great service, and great options, all at great value!
